The UA004GZ is a cordless 300mm slim Telescopic Pole Saw, designed to provide easy manoeuvrability into branches, with a lightweight pole saw head for easy access to the desired cutting position and ideal for pruning and limbing in tall trees or hard to reach areas. The UA004GZ is powered by 40V Max XGT battery (not included) and compatible with Makita PDC1200 backpack battery with adapter (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups and variable speed switch to enable the operator to match the speed to the application, to deliver up to 1,500 W maximum output power and 0 to 20 metres per second no load chain speed for high operating efficiency. The UA004GZ is equipped with lock-off function to prevent accidental start-up, electric brake for increased operator safety, tool-less pole extension and retraction, ranging from 0 to 1.2 metres, with an overall length (excluding the chain bar) of 2.6 to 3.8 metres for extended reach and a 160ml capacity chain oil tank with high transparency to enable the operator to easily view the amount of remaining oil. The oil tank cap knob is retractable to lessen the chance of the saw head being snagged in branches. The UA004GZ features wet guard/IPX4 water resistant, Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) to shut down the motor if the rotation speed suddenly slows down or stops, anti-fall captive nuts to minimise the loss of nuts when replacing the 300mm guide bar or 91PX saw chain and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damage due to overheating, over-discharge or overload current. The UA004GDZ has an integrated branch hook designed to remove cut branches from the trees. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
