Nelda Villines is a retired diplomat. She served 31 years overseas at numerous American embassies, 27 years on the continent of Africa. In 2006, Nelda received the Secretary of State Award for Outstanding Volunteerism Abroad for Africa. Hundreds of African children have benefitted from her generous and caring assistance over the years. She continues to support HIV/AIDS women and children in Eswatini (Swaziland) in Southern Africa.
