This 1640-2RS 7/8x2x9/16-inch sealed ball bearing has deep groove geometry for high speeds and supporting both radial and axial loads. This bearing is made of chrome steel for durability and resistance to deformity under heavy loads, and has a C0 (normal) radial internal clearance for applications that do not involve thermal expansion or atypical precision. It has rubber seals on both sides of the bearing to keep lubricant in and contaminants out, and comes pre-lubricated from the manufacturer so that no additional lubrication is required.
